IPATCH presents 4 papers at the MAST 2016 conference

The IPATCH project members presented 4 papers at this year's MAST (Maritime/Air Systems and Technologies) conference and trade show, held in Amsterdam from 21st - 23rd June, 2016.

MAST is an international conference and trade-show dedicated to senior-level technologists in maritime defence and security. The event is a forum for debate amongst experts from surface, undersea, and air and space domains, giving rise to new perspectives and developments to meet future capabilities.

This year, 4 papers submitted by memers of the IPATCH project were accepted for presentation and publication at MAST. Each paper focussed on a particular aspect of the IPATCH project which addressed the conference topics. The titles of the accepted papers are:

  • A new knowledgebase and methodology for analysing piracy incidents and countermeasures
  • An automated surveillance and decision support system to protect against piracy
  • A new dataset for maritime surveillance
  • Situation assessment in the context of piracy threat
